Mission Statement:
Impact a selected target area on the moon at hypervelocity of 10 km/sec using a small, low cost spacecraft by leveraging available, low cost, excess launch capacity
FLASH will:
- impact at 22,000 miles per hour
- be the first student lunar spacecraft
- hit near the Apollo landing sites
- aid lunar geological research |
