3/27/09. A Taiwanese overseas official in Canadia is removed from his post after publishing defamatory articles online (under a pseudonym), ridiculing the citizens of Taiwan as ignorant bumpkins and claiming to be a “high class foreigner.” After disclaiming to be the author multiple times, the official finally caved in under pressure and mounting evidence against him, while defending himself with the right to “freedom of speech.”
