Third World Welcome
The Third World Welcome (TWW) is an overnight experience held immediately after A Day On College Hill (ADOCH) every April. It is designed to expose African American, Asian American, Bi/Multiracial, Latino, and Native American students to the Third World community at Brown. The program complements the overarching experience of ADOCH. TWW provides a space for admitted students and their parents to discuss and ask questions about aspects of student life at Brown that pertain specifically to students of color. Students participating in TWW stay in first-year dorms with Brown students of color, enjoy performances from cultural and ethnic-based student groups, and have many opportunities to learn about the academic and social experiences of students of color at Brown. To register for this amazing experience, please submit the online registration form that will be up early in the spring semester. For questions regarding the Third World Welcome, please feel free to send an email to soc.recruitment@gmail.com. |
