The Saxtet welcomes its newest member, Dan Rome '13, on the baritone sax.
The Saxtet would like to thank Steve Schwartz for recording our first performance of the year at the BioMed Musicale, as well as Donna Arruda for organizing the show. Our piece, an original arrangement of Mark O'Connor's "Fisher's Hornpipe", is up on the Fall '09 recording page.
The Saxtet is back at it gigging a "take two" for the Very Special Arts of Rhode Island charity. Along with a few other groups from Brown, we're playing at The Everyman Bistro this coming Sunday afternoon. Come down, have a bite or a drink and a chill study break off College Hill!

The Saxtet Celebrated Springtime with our friends, The Saxyderms, a reunion concert from our first meeting at the 2008 Inner Chamber Festival. We're still not quite sure what "juice wearing tights" refers to, but, we know the Saxyderms are much better than said vaguely defined entity and we look forward to future collaboration with them. Great concert, Saxyderms!
