Driving to Brown University
From the North
If you are coming to Brown from the North, take I-95 South. Once you enter Rhode Island, take Exit 20 off I-95. Exit 20 corresponds to I-195 East and is located on the left of the highway. I-195 begins at Exit 20 so there is no way for you to go the wrong way. Take I-195 for about 1 mile until you reach Exit 2, Wickenden Street. Proceed down the exit ramp to the light. Make a left onto Wickenden Street. Not including that light, make a left at the second light onto Brook Street. Welcome to Brown University.
From the South
If you are coming to Brown from the South, take I-95 North. Once you enter Rhode Island, take Exit 20 off I-95. Exit 20 corresponds to I-195 East and is located on the right of the highway. Places to Practice
Fulton Rehearsal Hall - Home of the Brown University Band
Proceed down Brook Street until you reach Power Street (parking deck will be on your left). Make a right onto Power Street and take it one block to Hope Street. Make a left onto Hope Street. Proceed down Hope Street until you pass Young Orchard Street on your right (approx. 1 block). You will see a brick wall and steps on your right after you pass Young Orchard Street. This is the entrance to Fulton Rehearsal Hall.
Practice Fields - Exercise Center for the Brown University Band
Take Brook Street until the end. There will be a light here as well as a five-point intersection. Make a normal right onto Lloyd Avenue. The entrance to the practice fields will be on your right about 1/8 of a mile ahead. It is best to pull your bus inside mini-lot.
Places to Perform
Brown University Stadium - Home of the Brown University Bears
Take Brook Street until the end. There will be a light here as well as a five-point intersection. Make a normal right onto Lloyd Avenue. Proceed down Lloyd until you reach Elmgrove Avenue. Take Elmgrove Avenue down about 1.5 miles. You will pass a blinking yellow light. The stadium will be on your left. You may be able to park inside the main parking lot. Ask one of the people in charge of parking (they will be obvious) where is the best place for you bus to park.
Pizzitola Sports Center (Basketball) and Meehan Auditorium (Hockey)
Proceed down Brook Street until you reach Power Street (parking deck will be on your left). Make a right onto Power Street and take it one block to Hope Street. Make a left onto Hope Street. Proceed down Hope Street about 9 blocks. The athletic center will be on your right. Your buses may be able to park there. If not, you will probably want to unload there regardless. Meehan Auditorium is the first building on your left (domed white roof). The Pizzitola is the one next to it with red trim.
