About Us
Founded in 1924, The Brown Band is the world's only ice skating scatter band. We are an entirely student-run group. If you want to know more about who we are and what we do, check out the history section.
People
We want to meet you! Because we are student run, we are more than just a band. Though we all enjoy making music, Band is also a social experience. We are always looking for new members. To join us, please visit the "Join the Band!" page. If you're trying to contact the Band, the Band Board page is for you. Our schedule is also available. Or, if you're an alumnus/alumna, email our Alumni Liason.
Media
One of our most loved traditions is creating and giving out buttons at every football game. Those other things we do (playing music, singing, and having a good time) are also recorded in the media section.

Tuesday, Sept. 6th: Music stuffing (11:30am, pizza will be served), Orientation rehearsal and section leader elections (6pm)
Thursday, Sept. 8th: Activities Fair (Call time: 6:30pm in Fulton)
Friday, Sept. 9th: Campus March and First Friday (Call time: 7:15pm in Fulton, 7:55pm on Faunce steps)
Sunday, Sept. 11th: Unit Challenge (Call time: 12:15pm in Fulton)

Welcome, Brown class of 2014! Our first rehearsal will be September 7th at 5:30pm in Fulton Rehearsal Hall (on the corner of Hope and Benevolent Streets). Hope to see you there! All levels of experience welcome.

Brown Hockey is winning‽ The band followed the Brown Mens' Hockey Team to Albany for the ECAC semifinals.
