Ever thought “Wow, kicking things is awesome! But wouldn’t it be great if I could kick things while making the world a better place?”
Here’s your chance! We urge you to join the Tomorrow Fund Kick-a-Thon! BTKD will be working together to raise money for children with cancer and their families.
Find friends and family and good samaritans to host you with donations, and then kick away! Make them feel proud by performing 1000 kicks!
It’s a great cause, and a ton of fun, so what are you waiting for? Sign up!

This past Saturday, November 22, the Brown University Taekwondo Club hosted its second annual Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference (ECTC) Tournament in the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center (OMAC). With over 30 club volunteers and 15 alumni volunteers, Brown Taekwondo successfully directed 365 competitors registered from 23 schools on the East Coast, including MIT, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Princeton, and Tufts. Brown’s team itself had a strong showing with 44 registered competitors, and won first place in Division II.
Taekwondo is an ancient Korean martial art as well as one of the core Olympic Sports. At the tournament, participants competed in two categories: Poomsae (forms) and Kyorugi (sparring). The Brown University team is coached by Master Sung Park ‘96 and an Instructor Board composed of Brown students.
