History and Physics
Emma_Zuroski@brown.edu

I am a junior at Brown and am currently doing a double concentration in History and Physics.  I am most strongly interested in the field of history of science but am slowly wading out into the waters of science studies and an interdisciplinary approach to scientific methodology and contemporary questions of scientific development.  I have taken a handful of science-studies-related classes from a number of different departments.  My first love is physics although I repeatedly explain that I may be the worst physics student in the history of the world.  I love physics but I do not understand it.

Relevant classes (feel free to ask me about them):

PH 10 Science in Confrontation with Authority
HI 118 The Rise of the Scientific Worldview
HI 119 Nineteenth Century Roots of Modern Science

I am also taking UC49 Intro to Science Studies and EL190.03 Twentieth Century Reconceptions of Knowledge and Science this semester.
