Welcome to China Care Brown! China Care Brown was established in 2004 by Andrew Puschel and Kyle Wood (both Brown University ’05) to address the plight of China’s special-needs orphans. The completely student run organization works by raising funds and awareness for the China Care Foundation to help better the lives of orphaned children still in China. In addition, China Care Brown has a strong home component that connects Brown University students with Chinese adoptees in the local Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts area through cultural programs and activities. |

Saturday, April 7th - Benefit Showcase!
Join us on April 7th, 2012 for China Care Brown's Benefit Showcase.There will be a talent show featuring both Brown studnets and our community's children, a silent auction, and an all you can eat buffet catered by MuMu's including Chinese noodles, fried rice, chicken wings, etc. Time: April 7, 2012 4:30-7pm Hope to see you all there!

CHINESE LESSONS BLOG!!
Our Lessons Coordinator, Kathleen Yan, has created
a wonderful blog to help participating families continue to learn
Chinese at home. The Chinese Lessons blog is a useful resource that includes various handouts, videos, links, etc. for both the children's class and the adult class. Parents can review what they have learned each lesson, as well as see what their kids have been learning. There are also supplemental resources that weren't included in the lessons that may be helpful as well. Additionally, you can click on the "Ask me anything" button on the right side to submit questions or comments.
