Happy New Year from BNM

BNM Hearts you in the New Year! Hope you all are having a nice snowy winter. Providence has been very beautiful and the sounds of winter – snow plows, sleet falling, snow shoveling – they are all here in abundance.

Rest assured that Brown New Music is now officially back in action and poised to bring you another epic series of exciting experimental music concerts for the spring semester! Some ideas we have been batting around for themes are “Food” and a “Science Concert” (since we did a religious/sacred music concert last semester, it seems the only ‘fair and balanced’ thing to do).

If you’d like to get involved, please contact us! We’re open to all sorts of things provided they are sufficiently awesome.

Back in action – Fall 2010

Brown New Music is back in action this fall – we are organizing several concerts – so far, one in early October and another in Novermber, and a several other events. If you’d like to get involved, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Welcome to the New BNM Website!

After a few years of hiatus from the web (but not from performing great music), we are back! And with a new, community updatable website. Enjoy!

BNM Merchandise

Yes – you CAN buy your Brown New Music merch. I’d forgotten about this. I think somebody used it at least a few times back in the day. But lo and Behold, it is still there. From the Old BNM Website:

Anything is possible on the Information Superhighway, kids…

We made an online store and it works. Buy a set of magnets and a thong for that special friend…
