The Spring Weekend concerts tradition has endured since 1960. It has seen a lot of ups and downs - some huge successes and some rather dismal failures (the NRBQ years come to mind). Every year since 1960, the new members of the BCA have started off knowing nothing about how to make a concert. They have struggled and toiled in the sea of agents, bands, managers, roadies, electricians, police and security personnel, lighting and sound crews, and angry Brown students who are never satisfied.
